Mortise locks in today’s market are either through bolt or non-through bolt mounting. Through bolt mounted mortise locks may have different through hole locations on mortise chassis. To retrofit different brand mortise locks, Townsteel designed and patented a spring cage to accommodate its Grade 1 trims to work with various through hole mortise chassis. RMT and RMS are designed for through-bolt mounting, while RMF and RMU are for non-through-bolt mounting. RRX-K is designed to meet the need of Anti-ligature compliance.
RB/RC/TS-series mortise case are designed to retrofit mortise chassis made by Best Access System®, Corbin Russwin®, PDQ® or Cal-Royal®. All three series meets all Grade 1 requirements of ANSI/BHMA A156.13-2005. TS series is BHMA certified, and UL listed for up to 3 hour rated single swing door (4’x8’)
